Matthew 22:36-40  "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?" Jesus replied: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All of the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

We all have people in our life that we love, things we love to do, and places we love to go. Our first and most important love needs to be the Lord. As Christ followers we need to love the Lord before our spouse, children and other people in our life. When we spend more time with the Lord, His love will fill us and it will overflow to everyone around us. 

Colossians 3:1-2  "Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your heart on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things."

John 15:5 "I am the vine and you are the branches. if you remain in me, and I in you, you will bear much fruit. Apart from me you can do nothing."

Keep your mind focused on things of God, not earthly things. Study and store the word of God in your heart. By doing this you will be able to live a life pleasing to God. You will be an example of Jesus to everyone around you, which will plant seeds in the hearts of others to lead them to the path of salvation through Jesus Christ.

The most important thing in your life, is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. Set your heart and mind on things of God and keep God first, then everything else will fall into place.
